Antonio Lowry Edward and Serenity Alyanna Edward are a powerhouse creative dream team, and have spent twenty years creating a wonderful friendship filled with love, laughter, honesty, respect and loyalty together.
Antonio was born and raised in Pasadena, California. He attended Pasadena High School, and after graduation, attended Cal State LA, where he graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. He wanted to work in avionics, but the avionic industry had a freeze and he was unable to work in the industry.
A friend knew of Antonio’s experience in film, and helped him get a job filming and editing with ABC News. He worked with them for five years, and then went on to find other types of work.
Serenity was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She attended St. Elizabeth Catholic School and graduated valedictorian of her class. She then attended Elizabeth Seton School, and to assist with improving family finances, she transferred to Morgan Park High School and graduated in 1986.
Serenity won a scholarship to Bradley University, where she received her degree in journalism. Serenity then enlisted in the U.S. Army as a 46Q, Public Affairs Specialist. She was senior reporter for the Fort Benning Bayonet newspaper, the official newspaper of the first post she was assigned to– Fort Benning in Georgia. She was active duty and was deployed to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm.
They met online September 1, 2000. They had an immediate connection, resulting in becoming engaged September 4, 2000. They married March 20, 2001, and Antonio joined the U.S. Army, where he was an Apache Helicopter Crew Chief. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in Baghdad.
Currently, Antonio works as a Systems Administrator for Microsoft and Serenity is a student at Tarleton State University, working towards a degree in Clinical Psychology, with a minor in Ethnic and Cultural Studies.
In the world of filmmaking, each has their own production company and they work in tandem with each other. Antonio’s production house is SHIZ Media Studios and Serenity’s production house is Evolve.Forward.Media Productions.
